Haley is a level 2 competitive Gymnast. This is Haley's first year in Gymnastics. At her last meet Haley took 3rd place in the All Around for her age division with a 2nd place finish on Floor.
When ask what she liked best about Gymnastics Haley said she likes it when she shoots out on her bar dismount and goes really super-duper fast on her back-hip circle. She likes to compete because she like the leotard and she likes that she can compete but know that only a few people are watching her because there is so much going on at the same time. She also likes it when she places well.
Haley's coach, Alexis Arthur says that Haley is a fast learner and hard worker who while has fun with gymnastics is serious about developing her skills.
Claire is Haley's younger sister, also in her first year of gymnastics and a level 2 competitive gymnast. At her last meet Claire placed 3rd in the All Around for her age division with a 2nd place finish on Vault. When ask why she likes gymnastics Claire said she likes bars, she likes the back-hip circle and to fly off on the dismount. She likes doing her floor routine and on floor she likes doing a forward roll best. She likes to compete because people can watch her and the events she likes best are Floor, Bar, Vault and Beam (all of them) Claire's coach, Alexis Arthur says that if you haven't guessed by now you should know that Claire and Haley have a lot in common and their natural ability and hard work are two of their similarities. Claire is full of energy and brings valuable energy to the team.
